On Friday my mom and sister came over for our first "cooking day".
We've decided to start having a cooking day every other Friday
since both my sister and mom have Fridays off.
This time my mom helped us make cinnamon rolls.
I've made them before but they never seem to turn out as great as my mom's.
This time they were so yummy! Click here if you want the recipe.
Thanks Mom!

so Emma and I were left alone again. She had a cold all week so
we just spent some time in my bed watching cartoons in our jammies.
On Sunday night we went over to Ben and Chelsea's to celebrate Stephanie Wright's birthday.
The Hoopes made a delicious dinner and I made the birthday cake.
Hope you had a fun day Steph!

All of our girls had fun playing together, since they haven't seen each
other in a while because of all the sickness going around.
It took a while for them to warm up to each other again.

Cinnamon Rolls are the best! Mmm, I just might have to make some myself this week. You know Kesley Galland, too? Haha, I went to High School with her. I'll certainly post pictures of my hair after I cut it. I'm starting to get nervous, but that can only mean that it's a good decision, right? Cody actually used to work for Orem Fire, but now he works for Pleasant Grove. He just quit Orem in December, so I'm sure he knows your Mom. My Father-in-law is the Fire BC for Provo, so your brother might know him, his name is Gary Jolley. Glad to see that your little girl is doing better, she's so cute!
That's awesome! My mom and I cook wheat bread and sometimes cinnamon rolls every week too! It is fun and awesome to have delicious homemade bread for a change. mmm
I was just reading the comment from your friends Jewels & I totally know Gary Jolley!!! My husband works for Provo fire department and Gary is his BC! Funny. Zeth is friends with his daughter's husband Brian too. Funny, such a small world.
Those look so yummy! Can we get the recipe on Share-Eat-Enjoy or is a secret family recipe? Oh wait...I am family...give it up, girl! ;-)
Yum, those cinnamon rolls look so good! Can't wait to see what other treats you guys make in the future. :)
Those cinnamon rolls look so yummy!!!
Seeing your little girl all curled up on the couch makes me excited for when my little Isabella is old enough to hang out with me on the couch like we're best friends. I love looking at these pictures of Emma and her friends, Makes me excited I have a girl because look how cute they all are!
mmmm... I need to find a good cinnamon roll recipe... the rhodes bake and serve ones just don't cut it!
I love this idea of a "cooking day"! I am totally going to hit up my mom & sista's and see if we can't do our own. Unfortunately I have made it almost to my 30's with still not knowing how to cook! Pathetic!! Thanks for the idea!
i think i am just pretty insanely jealous of being able to have a cooking day with family! you are one lucky gal!
