Seattle

On Wednesday the 15th me, Chris and Emma flew from Reno up to Portland, Oregon where we rented a car and drove up to Seattle. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express a couple blocks from the Space Needle. After we got all settled in our hotel we walked over to the Space Needle and just walked around and got some dinner at the Sports Grill across the street. Then we walked back to our hotel and got some rest for the night.

Emma- I love her little profile

The next day we woke up and walked over to the Ride The Ducks by the Space Needle. We went on a great tour all around the city, I highly suggest this if you are ever in Seattle (thanks Erika for the recommendation).

This is the house from Sleepless In Seattle

When we got done with the tour we went over and ate at the Revolution Bar and Grill at the EMP (Experience Music Project) . Then we walked through the EMP.

After the EMP we walked down to the piers and took a cruise around the bay

Then we walked back up to the Space Needle and went up to the top to check out the view

The sun kept poking through the clouds onto the water, it was so beautiful!
On Friday we went to the Aquarium. Emma loved getting to touch all the different sea creatures.

A cute little sea otter

After the aquarium we had lunch at Ivars, YUMMY!
Walked through Pikes Market

Then walked up to the library
On the bottom floor they had these really cool floors with words written upside down and backwards.
On Saturday we packed up all our stuff and went over to the Fremont area to find the Troll that is under an overpass.
Then we went to the locks and the salmon ladder. After this we drove back down to Portland.
Emma kept doing this weird thing with her pinky finger, twisting it behind her ring finger. I don't know why but it freaked me out.

We really enjoyed Seattle and Chris was sooooo proud of me for walking everywhere. We got lucky and the weather was beautiful and perfect everyday of our trip.
