Orem Summerfest

Last weekend was the Orem Summerfest, which I've been going to since I was a little girl. It was always a highlight of each summer. This year we entered Emma in the baby contest, she didn't win but we just figured the judges might be blind. Either way she's the cutest baby I've ever known.
Here she is at the contest

After she was judged we went down to Magleby's Fresh for some yummy breakfast. I love this picture of Emma with her foot up on the table, she loves doing that.

Later we met up with my dad for the parade. We walked down Center Street trying to find a good spot to sit. Luckily we ran into one of my best friends, Haley and her family and we were able to sit with them. We also met up with my cousin, Alexis and her family.

This is Haley's little girl, Rylie, isn't she a doll!

I love this girl!

The picture of Emma's foot up- Adam does that too! It's so funny. He totally lounges in his stroller and sometimes sneaks his feet out to prop up!

Also, about my missed post- I know, how weird that it was just the draft- I was wondering why I hadn't heard from you in a while!!

Yes I agree, the judges were blind! That red white and blue outfit is so cute on your cute little girl!

I love her little patriotic outfit...too cute! As far the parade I did, I just contacted the civic events coordinator for the city and asked if she needed volunteers. (I've always really enjoyed volunteering because it feels good to do and it's nice to have some adult interaction once in a while) So after helping out at a few city events they just asked me to be a parade manager since they needed one. It was a lot of fun, I would highly recommend serving in your community if you have extra time!
